It's been three months already since fourteen young men underwent a for-Christ's-sake experience.
An experience that they will never forget.
That decision they will never regret.
But this day is something that all of us regret. Many did not come to celebrate it. The majority came late. And a special batchmate that should treat our hunger (haha) belonged to those who did not come.
Erv, one of our batchmates, has passed PMMA. And so, he will be leaving soon for a new dragoon experience. Calendar says that this 29, is his buhbye here in the city. That what makes him special. This 27 is the batch two third month celebration, and of course, the date for his 'despedida' to all of us.
Just imagine that.
He did not come.
All who have been there attended the mass at Christ The King Church in Ateneo. Afterwards was about going home. (Even though, all were hunger, and were shouting 'burger, burger, burger')
Anyway, it was fun seeing the same faces I've missed seeing since second semester ended. (Hehe)
Happy third month my Days With The Lord batchmates!
It doesn't matter how far we've swung towards the new path. I know that we're all trying to the best Dazers that we should be. Continue the light. The passion. The love. And the service for Christ, for Manoy.

Tsamba
Just to prove they are worth the playoffs and their hectic practices and trainings, the Dallas Mavericks (whooo!) stole game 3 of the Mavs-Hornets matchup of the first part of the NBA Playoffs.
And so?
The standing turns out to be 2-1, in favor of the Hornets (OF COURSE!)
Tsamba.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game because I was also having a Hornets fantasy that time (haha), so I just found out that clear disaster in the NBA website. Let's just say it was Dirk's best, so far. However, the scores did not even reach a hundred. I'm very confident now to say that it will be the Hornets who would entirely sting the Mavs, in the end.
Tsamba.
Alam kong, babawi si Paul.

Go Hornets!
82 games of sweat and injuries have just been through, and the NBA's playoffs is currently getting the spotlight. Who will get the trophy?
Western Conference (in order):
Los Angeles Lakers
New Orleans Hornets
San Antonio Spurs
Utah Jazz
Houston Rockets
Phoenix Suns
Dallas Mavericks
Denver Nuggets
Eastern Conference (in order):
Boston Celtics
Detroit Pistons
Orlando Magic
Cleveland Cavaliers
Washington Wizards
Toronto Raptors
Philadelphia 76ers
Atlanta Hawks
Since the season for 2008 started, I've been always looking forward for the New Orleans Hornets (yes! and now they made it!) to run towards the playoffs spots. With Chris Paul (for MVP!), Tyson Chandler, Peja, Bonzi Wells, MoPete, the Hornets made it to the #2 spot in the Western Conference, just behind the LA Lakers! Just imagine, the last time the team made it for the playoffs was way cannot-be-remembered! (well, that was when the team was yet Charlotte Hornets) And now, CP3 has pushed the team for another chance of winning the championship. Kaya! Go Hornets!
See? They have won the first two games against Mavs!

Shortage
"Now it doesn't matter. I'm starving."
It is in this kind of situation, we forget, that this is not the problem that we want solved. The oddity of it, it makes me wonder. Why in this situation? We become oblivious. Our conviction cannot feed us. But we should not force oursleves to dive in this pool of fantasy. Last week's about speaking the truth. Today's about giving sacks of rice. Perhaps tomorrow's about history-repeats-itself scenario. I though we have been drawn closer to reality.
Shortage.
The situation prevents everybody to go out of their cocoons and find a more progressive existence. In such, everybody becomes a slave to starvation, which should not be. For just a fraction of what really the nation faces, we are troubled. And yet, we forget that we want more. We want a sack of rice. However, more of it we want the truth. As every rat races to its goal, may this not force us to want another blanket to cover the nation.
When will we rise?
May starvation not lead us to submission.
